  7:30 Tuesday 5th December. We intended to eat somewhere else but the other place was full so we went in search of a nice restaurant and luckily we found La Tahona. The place was busy but we were soon seated after receiving a warm welcome from the staff. Service was friendly and prompt. We started with mushrooms flambé which were probably the best we have ever had. My wife tried the spaghetti carbonara and I fancied the sea bass in white wine sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection and was so fresh that it almost tasted of the sea. The bill including drinks came to just over €44 which I think was reasonable taking into account the quality of the food. We would certainly go there again.

  Been coming to Corralejo at least once annually since 2007. Every trip sees us eating here. The owners have seen our daughters grow and are so welcoming every visit. Excellent food, loads of choice. Not had one bad meal ever. Great location for listening to the live music in Music Square.

  Although we were staying at an All Inclusive resort in Corralejo, we dined out most evenings in Corralejo. This restaurant is positioned in the heart of Corralejo - in the square which has live music in the evening. We dined at La Tahona on a number of occasions and it is quite simply a "must" if you want excellent high quality food at a most competitive price. The steaks are simply to "die for". The service and management teams are proficient, extremely friendly and it is by far my family's best choice of restaurant in Corralejo. It is warm, welcoming with a magnetic charm and despite it being always busy, the staff have a way of making you feel special and appreciated. What is also most impressive is, even when extremely busy, the food is cooked to perfection and served very quickly from time of order with no delays - extremely useful when kids are in the party, as they get impatient. The "Maitre D" was a vivacious and delightful host. An absolute "Gem" of a find and we will certainly be back when we next visit Corralejo.
